​Justin Wilmot is a visual artist based in Massachusetts, currently pursuing his MFA degree in Animation at Pratt Institiute, in Brooklyn, NYC. He earned his Bachelors degree in Studio Arts at Trinity College, Hartford CT.

On May 2nd, 2025, Justin was honored to receive the Mitchel N. Pappas Memorial Prize at Trinity College's annual Honors Day. This award was funded by the Philip Kappel Endowment to honor the memory of Mitchel N. Pappas of Trinity’s Fine Arts Department, and is granted to senior students who show outstanding achievement and promise in the area of Studio Arts. He was rewarded this award for his animated short film: SMILE!

 

Combining a background in art with proficiency in computer science, he possess a unique skill set that bridges creativity with technical expertise. This interdisciplinary blend equips him with a diverse range of abilities that are valuable across various industries, from gaming design and software development to digital media production.
